Le Lum’çon opened in 1984. At the outset, it was mainly a meeting place run by a few part-time volunteers.
In 1994, recognition of the service by the AViQ, made it possible to recruit professionals to put together educational projects.
In 2005, Le Lum’çon moved to Salzinnes. It is attended by 16 core members.
The main objective is to help each core member discover and develop their gifts, to use them, give them purpose, and promote them within our society through a variety of activities: canework, sub-contracting, music, cooking, gardening, swimming, equine therapy, sport and more. The team is made up of four educators and a psychomotor therapist.
